Hancock Regional cut commuting costs and increased training engagement with web conferencing solutions

training engagement with web conferencing solutions

Hancock Regional Hospital is a community medical center that has served the Indianapolis area since 1951. According to Dr. Michael J. Fletcher, Hancock’s Vice President of Medical Staff Services and Chief Medical Officer, the hospital’s communication requirements are driven by a need to maintain high levels of physician participation during critical trainings and meetings. To accomplish this task, Hancock’s physicians must overcome the ongoing challenges of commuting nearly an hour every time a meeting is held at the hospital’s rural location.

By working with Select Communications, Dr. Fletcher has been able to creatively leverage GoToMeeting’s web conferencing solution to tailor the entire meeting experience to the unique needs of his staff.

The Results

Increased meeting participation

Simplified scheduling and calendar management for physicians

Reduced commuting costs for external staff
